Its nearly Christmas! The season of giving! Hopefully you’re all more organised than I am and you’ve actually started your Xmas shopping! If you haven’t, don’t worry there is still time! To help ease the trouble of shopping for friends and family we have put together our favourite fitness related gifts this festive season
First up we have some really cool water bottles, almost everyone could drink more water and be better hydrated. Being dehydrated makes it harder to focus making you far more likely to be less productive at work and in the gym. This awesome water from Hydr8-Mate helps by showing you how much you should drink throughout the day. Its cheap and even comes with some motivational quotes to keep you going throughout the day!
The second awesome gift is a little bit more pricey but really cool! It’s water bottle doubles up as a foam roller. All of us can benefit from a bit of foam rolling to help our mobility, however carrying a roller around all day would be a pain in the butt and incredibly impractical! This bottle makes it easy and it even looks pretty stylish too!
Headphones are a must have whether you’re going to the gym, out for a long walk, jogging or cycling to work. However, wires can be annoying, restrictive and just get in the way! Wireless headphones are must buys, top of the range are Bose SoundSport they boast the best sound quality and fit. They look pretty stylish too!
However, if you’re looking for a cheaper alternative the Taotronic wireless headphones are priced at around £20 making them a great stocking filler. They are highly rated on Amazon, they have sound quality and fit better than some the wireless headphones priced at around £100. A great value present!
Lastly, we have the good old Fitbit. A great present for you partner, kids, friends or anyone who wants to get more active! It tracks your steps, heart rate and sleep. Buying this for a loved one or friend is a great way to challenge them to get more active, you can set up a leaderboard to see who does the most steps and challenge them to beat you! If just challenging people for pride isn’t enough incentive to get moving you could also put a wager on it and see how much that ups the ante! Its a great piece of tech and one that most people will benefit from!
From me, James. I’m off today for the Christmas break, (actually I will be doing Saturdays sessions). So I wish the rest of you a Merry Christmas – I look forward to seeing you in the New Year!
